My art is a physical record of how I process the world around me, organizing and layering its frenetic bits to create surfaces that have history. Process is at the heart of what I do; working with my hands and using materials to explore content that emerges as I work. The imagery is reminiscent of something familiar. It’s where I like to let my mind wander, play and poke around. It embeds memories and glimpses from real places, now morphed into what I can imagine.

Inspiration comes in many forms and translates as color, architecture, pattern and repetition. As a formalist I care about design and composition and I often rely on the grid to keep my work grounded. Intuition guides my playful side giving permission to take risks to enjoy discovery in the process.
